Upgrade your Samsung Galaxy Mini to Gingerbread 2.3.7 Tutorial

WHAT is it?
It is the leaked latest gingerbread on the net.

WHY do we need it?
If you’re tired and can’t wait for samsung via KIES to announce the upgrade of your phone to the latest gingerbread, then you probably want this. It is compatible with many MODs (cyanogenmod, emanon, etc.)

HOW to install?

Warning: Do it at your own RISK! just follow the Steps and everything will be alright! ;D

Download this:

1. S5570XWKS2.rar (108,411 KB) or here http://adf.ly/5KTcV
2. S5570XWKS7_S5570OXXKS2_FOP.zip (131,219 KB) or here http://adf.ly/5KTfd
3. S5570_Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.38.exe (444 KB) or here http://adf.ly/5KTjC
4. TASS_v1.0.ops (1 KB) or here http://adf.ly/5KTma

After downloading the above. Extract S5570XWKS2.rar (APBOOT_S5570XWKS2_CL584844_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5 and CODE_S5570XWKS2_CL584844_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5)and S5570XWKS7_S5570OXXKS2_FOP.zip (S5570XWKS7_S5570OXXKS2_S5570XWKS2_HOME.tar.md5) in a folder.

Steps:

1. Right click “S5570_Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.38.exe” and Run as administrator.
2. Locate “OPS”, Click it and browse “TASS_v.10.ops”
(be sure to check “Auto Reboot” and “Protect OPS”)
3. Click BOOT and browse “APBOOT_S5570XWKS2_CL584844_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5”
4. Click PDA and browse “CODE_S5570XWKS2_CL584844_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5”

Note: Make sure that there is no error on the message box located on the lower left portion of ODIN.

After ODIN is set, your phone is next:

1. Turn off your phone
2. Press simultaneously “volume down + Home Button + Power button” and wait for the screen says Downloading.
3. Connect your phone to your Laptop/PC via USB cable.
4. Wait for the ODIN to detect your phone (yellow color) and Select “Start”.
5. Wait for your phone to Restart and (dont unplug it yet) wait the ODIN to say PASS with the BLUE color.

After it is successful, we will now upgrade to Gingerbread 2.3.7

Steps:

1. Right click “S5570_Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.38.exe” and Run as administrator.
2. Locate “OPS”, Click it and browse “TASS_v.10.ops”
(be sure to check “One Package”, “Auto Reboot” and “Protect OPS”)
3. Click One Package located on the lower portion of ODIN and browse “S5570XWKS7_S5570OXXKS2_S5570XWKS2_HOME.tar.md5”

Next:

1. Turn off your phone
2. Press simultaneously “volume down + Home Button + Power button” and wait for the screen says Downloading.
3. Connect your phone to your Laptop/PC via USB cable.
4. Wait for the ODIN to detect your phone (yellow color) and Select “Start”.
5. Wait for your phone to Restart and (dont unplug it yet) wait the ODIN to say PASS with the BLUE color.

and that’s it! You have successfully upgraded to the latest gingerbread 2.3.7
